IMPORTANT NOTES:
Coverage is NOT provided for any pre-existing medical or dental conditions, which includes any illness or injury where you (or anyone else) have had symptoms, treatment, prescriptions, surgery or have seen a specialist before you purchased the policy.
Any illness or injury which has come into existence, or has shown symptoms, or has been diagnosed in the previous insurance period(s) will not be covered in the extended insurance period.
It is a medical requirement that all insured travellers under our Travel Secure insurance be:
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19; or
- Undergone a negative PCR test within seventy-two (72) hours prior to start of travel or subject to destination country's travel requirement.
Otherwise, a 14-day waiting period shall be applied before COVID-19 medical related benefits will respond.
Additional Requirements:
- Child age 0 to 5, must be traveling with legal guardian and airplane seat is next to each other
- Child age 0 to 2, must submit Pediatrician's Certificate that child is fit to travel via air
- Adult age 71 and above, following documents are required:
- Medical certificate that traveler is fit to travel via air (certification must be 3 weeks prior to trip departure date
- Annual Physical Examination Report (obtained at the latest 6 months prior to trip departure date)
- Must be accompanied by a traveler age 18 to 59 years old for the duration of the trip
Excluded Occupations :
- Flight crew (except as a passenger) – separate product would apply.
- Seagoing vessel crew (except as a passenger)
- Train crew (except as a passenger)
- Mine workers
- Oil rig workers
- Aerial photographers
- Workers handling explosives
- Personnel of navy, military, air force, law enforcement or civil defense service or operation.
